1|Cor.|12:1|-|Now concerning |1a|spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be |b|ignorant.
1|Cor.|12:2|-|You know that when you were |a|Gentiles, you were always being led away to |b|dumb idols, whenever and however you were |1|led.
1|Cor.|12:3|-|Therefore I make known to you that no one |1|speaking in the |a|Spirit of God says, Jesus is |2|accursed; and |3|no one can say, |b|Jesus is Lord! except in the |c|Holy Spirit.
1|Cor.|12:4|-||1|But there are |2|distinctions of |3a|gifts, but the |b|same Spirit;
1|Cor.|12:5|-|And there are distinctions of |1a|ministries, yet the |b|same Lord;
1|Cor.|12:6|-|And there are distinctions of |1|operations, but the |a|same |2|God, who |b|operates all things in all.
1|Cor.|12:7|-|But to |a|each one is given the |1|manifestation of the Spirit |2|for |b|what is profitable.
1|Cor.|12:8|-|For to one through the Spirit a |1|word of |a|wisdom is given, and to another a |1|word of |b|knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
1|Cor.|12:9|-|To a different one |1a|faith in the same Spirit, and to another |2|gifts of |b|healing in the one Spirit,
1|Cor.|12:10|-|And to another operations of |1a|works of power, and to another |2b|prophecy, and to another |3c|discerning of spirits; to a different one various kinds of |4d|tongues, and to another |5e|interpretation of tongues.
1|Cor.|12:11|-|But the one and the same Spirit operates all these things, |a|distributing to each one respectively even as He |b|purposes.
1|Cor.|12:12|-||1|For even as the body is |a|one and has many |b|members, yet all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also is |2|the Christ.
1|Cor.|12:13|-|For also in |1a|one Spirit we were all |b|baptized into |2c|one Body, whether |3d|Jews or Greeks, whether |4|slaves or free, and were all given to |5e|drink one |f|Spirit.
1|Cor.|12:14|-|For the body is not one member but |a|many.
1|Cor.|12:15|-|If the foot should say, Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body, it is not that because of this it is not of the body.
1|Cor.|12:16|-|And if the ear should say, Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body, it is not that because of this it is not of the body.
1|Cor.|12:17|-|If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were the hearing, where would the smelling be?
1|Cor.|12:18|-|But now God has |a|placed the members, each one of them, in the body, even as He |b|willed.
1|Cor.|12:19|-|And if all were one member, where would the body be?
1|Cor.|12:20|-|But now the members are many, but the body |a|one.
1|Cor.|12:21|-|And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you; nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
1|Cor.|12:22|-|But much rather the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.
1|Cor.|12:23|-|And those members of the body which we consider to be less honorable, these we clothe with more abundant honor; and our uncomely members come to have more abundant comeliness,
1|Cor.|12:24|-|But our comely members have no need. But God has |1|blended the body together, giving more abundant honor to the member that lacked,
1|Cor.|12:25|-|That there would be no |a|division in the body, but that the members would have the |1|same care for one another.
1|Cor.|12:26|-|And whether one member |a|suffers, all the members suffer with it; or one member is glorified, all the members |b|rejoice with it.
1|Cor.|12:27|-|Now you are the Body of Christ, and |a|members individually.
1|Cor.|12:28|-|And God has |a|placed some in the |1b|church: first |2c|apostles, second |3d|prophets, third |4e|teachers; then |5f|works of power, then |6|gifts of |g|healing, |7|helps, |8h|administrations, various kinds of |9i|tongues.
1|Cor.|12:29|-|Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all have works of power?
1|Cor.|12:30|-|Do all have gifts of healing? Do all |1|speak in tongues? |2|Do all |1a|interpret tongues?
1|Cor.|12:31|-|But |1|earnestly |a|desire the |2b|greater gifts. And moreover I show to you a |3|most excellent way.
