Eph.|6:1|-||1a|Children, obey your parents |2b|in the Lord, for this is |3|right.
Eph.|6:2|-||1a|“Honor your father and mother,” which is the |2|first commandment with a promise,
Eph.|6:3|-||a|“That it may be |1|well with you and that you may |1|live long on the earth.”
Eph.|6:4|-|And fathers, do not |1|provoke your children to anger, but |a|nurture them in the discipline and |2|admonition of the Lord.
Eph.|6:5|-||1a|Slaves, |2|be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh with |3b|fear and trembling, in |4c|singleness of your heart, |5d|as to Christ;
Eph.|6:6|-|Not with eye-service as |a|men-pleasers but |1|as |b|slaves of Christ, doing the |c|will of God |2|from the |d|soul;
Eph.|6:7|-|With good will |a|serving as slaves, |1b|as serving the Lord and not men;
Eph.|6:8|-|Knowing that whatever good thing each one does, |1|this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a |a|slave or a free man.
Eph.|6:9|-|And masters, do the same things toward them, |1a|giving up your threatening, knowing that both their Master and yours is in the heavens, and there is |b|no respect of persons with Him.
Eph.|6:10|-||1|Finally, |2|be |3a|empowered |4b|in the Lord and in the |c|might of His strength.
Eph.|6:11|-||1a|Put on the |2|whole |b|armor of God that you may be able to |3c|stand against the |4d|stratagems of the |e|devil,
Eph.|6:12|-|For our wrestling is not against |1a|blood and flesh but against |2|the |b|rulers, against the authorities, against the |c|world-rulers of |3|this |d|darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the |4e|heavenlies.
Eph.|6:13|-|Therefore |1|take up the whole |a|armor of God that you may be able to |2b|withstand in the |3c|evil day, and having done all, to |4d|stand.
Eph.|6:14|-|Stand therefore, |1|having |2a|girded your loins with |3b|truth and having |4|put on the |c|breastplate of |d|righteousness
Eph.|6:15|-|And having |1|shod your |a|feet with the |2|firm foundation of the |b|gospel of |c|peace;
Eph.|6:16|-|Besides all these, having |1|taken up the |a|shield of |2|faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming |3|darts of the |b|evil one.
Eph.|6:17|-|And receive the |1a|helmet of salvation and the |2b|sword of the Spirit, |3|which Spirit is the |4c|word of God,
Eph.|6:18|-||1|By means of all |2a|prayer and petition, praying at |b|every time in |3c|spirit and |4d|watching unto this in |5|all perseverance and |6|petition concerning all the saints,
Eph.|6:19|-|And |a|for me, that |1|utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known in |b|boldness the |2c|mystery of the gospel,
Eph.|6:20|-|For which I am an |1a|ambassador in a |2b|chain, that in it I would speak |c|boldly, as I |d|ought to speak.
Eph.|6:21|-|But |a|that you also may know the things concerning me, how I am doing, |b|Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful |1|minister |c|in the Lord, will |2|make all things known to you.
Eph.|6:22|-|Him I have sent to you for this very thing, that you may know the things concerning us and that he may |a|comfort your hearts.
Eph.|6:23|-||1a|Peace to the brothers and |2b|love with faith |3|from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Eph.|6:24|-||1a|Grace be with all those who |2b|love our Lord Jesus Christ in |3c|incorruptibility.
