Gen.|13:5|-|And |a|Lot, who went with Abram, also had flocks and herds and tents.
Gen.|13:6|-|And the land could not support them that they might dwell together, for their |a|possessions were so great that they could not dwell together.
Gen.|13:7|-|And there was |1|strife between the herdsmen of Abram’s livestock and the herdsmen of Lot’s livestock. And at that time the Canaanites and the Perizzites dwelt in the land.
Gen.|13:8|-|And Abram said to Lot, Let there please be no strife between me and you and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen, for we are brothers.
Gen.|13:9|-|Is not the whole land before you? Please separate yourself from me. If you go to the left, then I will go to the right. Or if you go to the right, then I will go to the left.
Gen.|13:10|-|And Lot lifted up his eyes and saw the entire plain of the Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere—this was before Jehovah had destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah—like the |a|garden of Jehovah, like the land of Egypt, as you go to Zoar.

Gen.|13:14|-|And |1|Jehovah said to Abram after Lot had separated from him, Now lift up your eyes, and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward;
Gen.|13:15|-|For all the land that you see I will give to you and to your |a|seed forever.
Gen.|13:16|-|And I will make your seed as the |1a|dust of the earth, so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then your seed can also be numbered.
Gen.|13:17|-|Rise up; walk through the land according to its length and its breadth, for I will give it to you.
Gen.|13:18|-|And Abram moved his |1a|tent and came and dwelt by the oaks of |2|Mamre, which are in |3b|Hebron, and there he built an |c|altar to Jehovah.
