Heb.|10:1|-|For the law, having a |a|shadow of the |b|good things to come, not the image itself of the things, can |c|never by the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, |d|perfect those who draw near.
Heb.|10:2|-|Otherwise would they not have |a|ceased to be offered, because those worshipping, having once been purified, would have no longer had the |b|consciousness of sins?
Heb.|10:3|-|But in those sacrifices there is a bringing to mind of sins |a|year by year;
Heb.|10:4|-|For it is |a|impossible for the |b|blood of bulls and goats to |c|take away sins.
Heb.|10:5|-|Therefore, coming into the world, He says, |a|“Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a |b|body You have prepared for Me.
Heb.|10:6|-|In |a|burnt offerings and |b|sacrifices for sin You did not delight.
Heb.|10:7|-|Then I said, Behold, I have come |a|(in the |1|roll of the book it is written concerning Me) to do Your |2b|will, O God.”
Heb.|10:8|-|Saying above, “Sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You did not desire nor delight in” (which are offered according to the law),
Heb.|10:9|-|He then has said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will.” He takes away the |1|first that He may establish the |1|second,
Heb.|10:10|-|By which |a|will we have been |b|sanctified through the |c|offering of the |d|body of Jesus Christ |1e|once for all.
Heb.|10:11|-|And every priest |1|stands daily, ministering and offering often the same sacrifices, which can |a|never |b|remove sins;
Heb.|10:12|-|But this One, having |a|offered one |b|sacrifice for sins, |1c|sat down |2|forever on the right hand of God,
Heb.|10:13|-|Henceforth waiting until His |a|enemies are made the footstool for His feet.
Heb.|10:14|-|For by |a|one offering He has |1b|perfected forever those who are being |c|sanctified.
Heb.|10:15|-|And the |a|Holy Spirit also testifies to us, for after having said,
Heb.|10:16|-||a|“This is the covenant which I will covenant with them after those days, says the Lord: I will impart My laws upon their hearts, and upon their mind I will inscribe them,”
Heb.|10:17|-|He then says, “And |a|their sins and their lawlessnesses I shall by no means remember anymore.”
Heb.|10:18|-|Now where forgiveness of these is, there is |a|no longer an offering for sin.
Heb.|10:19|-|Having therefore, brothers, |a|boldness for |1b|entering the |c|Holy of Holies in the |d|blood of Jesus,
Heb.|10:20|-|Which entrance He initiated for us as a |1|new and living |a|way through the |2b|veil, that is, His |c|flesh,
Heb.|10:21|-|And having a |a|great |b|Priest over the |c|house of God,
Heb.|10:22|-|Let us |1a|come forward to the |b|Holy of Holies with a true heart in full |c|assurance of faith, having our hearts |d|sprinkled from an evil conscience and having our |2|bodies |e|washed with |2|pure water.
Heb.|10:23|-|Let us |a|hold fast the |b|confession of our |c|hope unwavering, for He who has promised is |d|faithful;
Heb.|10:24|-|And let us consider one another so as to incite one another to love and good works,
Heb.|10:25|-|Not |1|abandoning our own |2|assembling together, as the custom with some is, but |a|exhorting one another; and so much the more as you see the |b|day drawing |c|near.
Heb.|10:26|-|For when we |1|sin willfully after receiving the knowledge of the |2|truth, there |3a|no longer remains a |b|sacrifice of bulls and goats for sins,
Heb.|10:27|-|But a certain |a|fearful expectation of |b|judgment and |c|fervor of fire, which is to |d|consume the adversaries.
Heb.|10:28|-||a|Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without compassion on the testimony of |b|two or three witnesses.
Heb.|10:29|-||a|By |b|how much do you think he will be thought worthy of |1|worse punishment who has |2c|trampled underfoot the Son of God and has |3|considered |d|the blood of the covenant by which he was |e|sanctified a common thing and has |4|insulted the |f|Spirit of grace?
Heb.|10:30|-|For we know Him who said, |1a|“Vengeance is Mine; I will repay”; and again, |b|“The Lord will |c|judge His people.”
Heb.|10:31|-|It is a |a|fearful thing to fall into the hands of the |b|living God.
Heb.|10:32|-|But call to mind the former days, in which, having been |a|enlightened, you endured a great |b|conflict of |c|sufferings;
Heb.|10:33|-|On one hand, being made a |1a|spectacle both in |b|reproaches and in afflictions, and on the other, having become |c|partakers with those who are treated the same.
Heb.|10:34|-|For you both sympathized with those in |a|bonds and accepted with |b|joy the plundering of your possessions, knowing that you yourselves have a |1|better |c|possession and one that abides.
Heb.|10:35|-|Do not cast away therefore your |a|boldness, which has great |1b|reward.
Heb.|10:36|-|For you have need of |a|endurance in order that, having done the |1|will of God, you may obtain the |2b|promise.
Heb.|10:37|-|“For in yet a very little while the Coming One will |a|come and will not delay.
Heb.|10:38|-|But My |a|righteous one shall live |b|by |1|faith; and if he shrinks back, My soul does not delight in him.”
Heb.|10:39|-|But we are not of those who |1|shrink back to |2|ruin but of them who have faith to the |3a|gaining of the soul.
