Luke|17:1|-|And He said to His disciples, It is impossible for causes of |a|stumbling not to come, but |b|woe to him through |c|whom they come.
Luke|17:2|-|It is more profitable for him if a |a|millstone is put around his neck and he is hurled into the sea than to stumble one of these little ones.
Luke|17:3|-||a|Take heed to yourselves. If your brother |b|sins, |c|rebuke him; and if he repents, |d|forgive him.
Luke|17:4|-|And if he sins against you |a|seven times in a day and turns again to you seven times, saying, I repent, you shall forgive him.
Luke|17:5|-|And the apostles said to the Lord, |1a|Increase our faith.
Luke|17:6|-|But the Lord said, If you have |a|faith like a |b|mustard seed, you would have said to this |c|sycamine tree, Be uprooted and be planted in the sea; and it would have obeyed you.
Luke|17:7|-|But which of you, having a slave who is plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, Come immediately and recline at table?
Luke|17:8|-|Will he not rather say to him, Prepare something that I may dine, and |a|gird yourself and serve me until I eat and drink; and after that you will eat and drink?
Luke|17:9|-|He does not thank the slave because he did the things which were ordered, does he?
Luke|17:10|-|So also you, when you do all the things which are ordered you, say, We are |a|unprofitable slaves; we have done what we ought to have done.
Luke|17:11|-|And as He was going to |a|Jerusalem, He passed between |b|Samaria and |c|Galilee.
Luke|17:12|-|And as He entered into a certain village, ten |1a|leprous men, who stood at a distance, met Him.
Luke|17:13|-|And they raised their voice, saying, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!
Luke|17:14|-|And when He saw them, He said to them, Go and show yourselves to the |a|priests. And as they |1|went, they were cleansed.
Luke|17:15|-|And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, |a|glorifying God with a loud voice;
Luke|17:16|-|And he |a|fell on his face at His feet, thanking Him. And he was a |b|Samaritan.
Luke|17:17|-|And Jesus answered and said, Were not the ten cleansed? But the nine, where are they?
Luke|17:18|-|Were none found who returned to |a|give glory to God except this foreigner?
Luke|17:19|-|And He said to him, Rise up and go; your |a|faith has |1|healed you.
Luke|17:20|-|And when He was questioned by the |a|Pharisees as to |b|when the kingdom of God was coming, He answered them and said, The |1c|kingdom of God does |2|not come with observation;
Luke|17:21|-|Nor will they say, Behold, |a|here it is! or, There! For behold, the |1|kingdom of God is in the midst of |2|you.
Luke|17:22|-|And He said to the disciples, The |a|days will come when you will long to see one of the |b|days of the Son of Man, and you will |1|not see it.
Luke|17:23|-|And they will say to you, Behold, there! Behold, here! Do not go away, nor run after them.
Luke|17:24|-|For just as |1|lightning flashing from one end |2|of heaven shines to the other end |2|of heaven, so will the Son of Man be in His |a|day.
Luke|17:25|-|But first He must suffer many things and be |a|rejected by this generation.
Luke|17:26|-||1a|And even as it happened in the |2b|days of Noah, so will it be also in the |c|days of the Son of Man:
Luke|17:27|-|They were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day in which Noah entered into the |a|ark and the |b|flood came and destroyed them all.
Luke|17:28|-|Likewise, even as it happened in the |a|days of |b|Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;
Luke|17:29|-|But on the day in which Lot went out from |a|Sodom, it rained fire and |b|brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.
Luke|17:30|-|It will be in the same way on the day in which the Son of Man is |a|revealed.
Luke|17:31|-|In that day, he who will be on the |a|housetop and his goods in the house, let him |1|not come down to take them away; and he who is in the field, likewise, let him not turn back to the things behind.
Luke|17:32|-|Remember |1|Lot’s wife.
Luke|17:33|-|Whoever seeks to |1|preserve his |a|soul-life will lose it, and whoever loses it will preserve it alive.
Luke|17:34|-||1|I tell you, In that night there will be |a|two on one bed; the one will be |2b|taken and the other will be left.
Luke|17:35|-|There will be two women |a|grinding together; the one will be taken but the other will be left.
Luke|17:36|-||1|Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other will be left.
Luke|17:37|-|And they answered and said to Him, Where, Lord? And He said to them, Where the |1|body is, there also will the |a|vultures be gathered together.
