Psa.|62:Title|-|To the choir director, to Jeduthun. A |a|Psalm of David
Psa.|62:1|-|My soul waits in silence for God alone;My salvation is from Him.
Psa.|62:2|-|He alone is my |a|rock and my salvation,My |b|high retreat; I will not be greatly shaken.
Psa.|62:3|-|How long will you assail a manSo that you may slay him, all of you,
Like a leaning wall or a tottering fence?
Psa.|62:4|-|They only make plans to thrust him down from his dignity;They take delight in lies;
With their mouth they bless,But inwardly they curse. Selah
Psa.|62:5|-|My soul, wait in silence for God alone,For my expectation is from Him.
Psa.|62:6|-|He alone is my |a|rock and my salvation,My |b|high retreat; I will not be shaken.
Psa.|62:7|-|On God my salvation and my glory depend;The |a|rock of my strength, my |b|refuge, is in God.
Psa.|62:8|-|Trust in Him at all times, O people;|a|Pour out your heart before Him;
God is a |b|refuge to us. Selah
Psa.|62:9|-|Men of low degree are but a vapor;Men of high degree, a lie.
In the balances they go up;Together they are less than a |a|vapor.
Psa.|62:10|-|Do not trust in oppression,And do not vainly hope in robbery;
If wealth increases,Do not set your heart on it.
Psa.|62:11|-|Once has God spoken;Twice have I heard this,
That strength belongs to God.
Psa.|62:12|-|To You also, O Lord, belongs lovingkindness;For You |a|repay every man according to his work.
