Notes on Chapter 93

Psa. 93:11a| reigns| 1|Chron. 16:31;| Psa. 95:3;| 96:10;| 99:1;| Isa. 52:7
| Psalms 93101 are a cluster showing that God will recover His full title and right over the earth through the reign of Christ. God has the right over the earth because the earth with all its fullness—all the different peoples of all races and colors—was created by Him. Thus, He is the Possessor of the earth and holds the title deed. He has the full right to claim the earth, and He will do it through the reign of Christ (cf. Psa. 2:8; Rev. 10:2; 11:15). See note 11 in Psa. 90.

Psa. 93:12| established
| Apart from the reign of Christ the earth is easily shaken. When God recovers His title and right over the earth through the reign of Christ, the earth will no longer be shaken but will be established.
