Rev.|13:1|-|And I saw a |1a|beast coming up out of the |2b|sea, having |3c|ten horns and |d|seven heads, and on his horns ten diadems, and on his heads |e|names of |4|blasphemy.
Rev.|13:2|-|And the beast which I saw was |1|like a |a|leopard, and his feet like those of a |b|bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a |c|lion. And the |d|dragon |e|gave him his |2|power and his |f|throne and great |g|authority.
Rev.|13:3|-|And |1|one of his heads was as it were slain to death, and his death stroke was healed. And the whole earth |a|marveled after the beast.
Rev.|13:4|-|And they worshipped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast; and they |a|worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like the beast? And who can make war with him?
Rev.|13:5|-|And there was given to him a mouth |a|speaking great things and blasphemies, and authority was given to him to act for |1b|forty-two months.
Rev.|13:6|-|And he opened his mouth for blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His |a|tabernacle, which tabernacle in heaven.
Rev.|13:7|-|And permission was given to him to make |a|war with the |1|saints and to overcome them; and authority was given to him over every tribe and people and tongue and nation.
Rev.|13:8|-|And all those |a|dwelling on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name is not |1b|written in the |2c|book of life of the |d|Lamb who was slain |e|from the foundation of the world.
Rev.|13:9|-|If anyone has an |a|ear, let him hear.
Rev.|13:10|-|If anyone is for captivity, into captivity he goes; if anyone |a|kills with the sword, with the sword he is to be killed. Here is the |b|endurance and the |c|faith of the |1|saints.
Rev.|13:11|-|And I saw |1a|another beast coming up out of the |2|earth, and he had two horns |3|like a lamb, and he spoke like a |b|dragon.
Rev.|13:12|-|And he exercises all the authority of the first beast |a|in his sight, and he causes the earth and those who dwell in it to |b|worship the first beast, whose |c|death stroke was healed.
Rev.|13:13|-|And he does great |1a|signs, so that he even makes |b|fire come down out of heaven to the earth before men.
Rev.|13:14|-|And he |a|deceives those who dwell on the earth on account of the signs which he was given power to do before the beast, |1|commanding those who dwell on the earth to make an |b|image to the beast, who had the |c|stroke of the sword and revived.
Rev.|13:15|-|And power was given to him to give |1|breath to the image of the beast that the image of the beast might even |2a|speak and cause whoever would |b|not worship the image of the beast to be killed.
Rev.|13:16|-|And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the freemen and the slaves, to be given a |a|mark on their right hand or on their |b|forehead,
Rev.|13:17|-|And that no one may be able to buy or sell except him who has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the |a|number of his name.
Rev.|13:18|-|Here is wisdom. Let him who has |1|understanding calculate the |2|number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred sixty-six.
